PANALO TAYO GUYS:atin ang west Philippine sea. ayon sa International Court of Tribunal

Judges at an arbitration tribunal in The Hague on Tuesday rejected China's claims to economic rights across large swathes of the South China Sea in a ruling that will be claimed as a victory by the Philippines.
"There was no legal basis for China to claim historic rights to resources within the sea areas falling within the 'nine-dash line'," the court said, referring to a demarcation line on a 1947 map of the sea, which is rich in energy, mineral and fishing resources.
In the 497-page ruling, judges also found that Chinese law enforcement patrols had risked colliding with Philippine fishing vessels in parts of the sea and caused irreparable damage to coral reefs with construction work.
China, which boycotted the case brought by the Philippines, has said it will not be bound by any ruling. In reaction, china said: "The arbitration tribunal made the illegal and invalid so-called final verdict on the South China Sea dispute on July 12. Regarding this issue, China has made the statement for many times that it is against the international law that the Aquino III administration of Philippines unilaterally requested the arbitration. The arbitration tribunal has no jurisdiction on this matter."

Manila had contested China's expansive territorial claims in the South China Sea, which the Philippines Contends are invalid under International Law.
This is the first time a South China Sea territorial dispute has been brought to the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in The Hague and many think it will rule in favor of the Southeast Asian nation.
Control of the region is valuable because more than $5 trillion worth of global trade passes through the South China Sea each year, and China has been accused of ramping up tensions over control in recent years by building artificial islands on reefs, on which it has added airstrips and other military-style installations.
The U.S. is seeking to maintain "freedom of navigation" in the region for its ships including military vessels.
The case is under scrutiny globally as it could change the region's geopolitical landscape and set future precedence for similar challenges.
In China, the guns were out on Weibo where #SouthChinaSeaArbitration was a top trending topic on the Twitter-like social media platform on Tuesday.

PILIPINAS WAR AGAINST DRUG AND CRIME, 2 snatchers salvage

MANILA, Philippines - Weeks before President Rody Duterte assumed the highest government post in the country, issues of extrajudicial killings in Metro Manila and nearby provinces have already been bannering the headlines of all news companies. Majority of the suspects-turned-victims were linked to drug-related crimes. But early this morning, July 10, an alleged snatcher was unlawfully executed in EDSA, Quezon City.
A concerned and worried citizen, named Christine Jimenez Beteno posted some disturbing photos of a dead man wrapped in packaging tape with a placard around him informing the public that the was a notorious snatcher. “Huwag ako tularan. Snatcher ako!!! Sa EDSA.”
Beteno narrated that she and her companions saw the body in front of EDSA Grand Central Terminal at around 1:00 a.m. At first, they thought that it was merely a bag full of trash but when they got closer to the unidentified object, they immediately noticed the exposed hair and from there they concluded that it was a corpse. They hurriedly reported the incident to the barangay outpost and the officers on duty responded to the call

July 12 UPDATE: Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Senior Supt. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar said that another lifeless body of alleged snatcher was found in separate place in Quezon City on Sunday.
Eleazar added that the unidentified persons were victims of summary execution
Earlier this week, a group of masked vigilantes appeared on TV and confessed that they are hunting and pinning down drug pushers and their big bosses for the sake of the Filipino people. The armed castigators also exclaimed that they are helping and supporting President Duterte in wiping out the illegal drug trade in the country.
Netizens are somehow convinced that the vigilantes who use to kill drug pushers, are more likely, in-charge of the demise of the EDSA snatcher due to the pattern and way of executing their victims.
Last Thursday, a uniformed policeman, PO3 Michael Lee Manalad of Malolos Police was found dead with gunshot wounds all over his body in a grassy and vacant lot in Meycauayan City, Bulacan. Like any other summary execution victims, Manalad was also wearing a signage: “Pulis na pusher. Wag tularan.” Although still blank on P03 Manalad’s case especially on the suspects, the PNP believes that it is a vigilante attack.
Former Justice Secretary and now Senator, Leila De Lima called out the attention of President Duterte and urged him to stop condoning extrajudicial killings. The lady senator also informed the public that she will probe the rampant drug-related killings in the country because Philippines is now becoming a massive killing field. She also urges the authorities to respect the suspect's human rights and follow the due process of law.
Netizens have split reactions on the recent killings. Many say that it is just right for those criminals to get killed so that Philippines will once again become a safe haven for its residents and foreigners. Some say that the on-going war against drugs and crimes are really terrifying because no one knows if the executed people are real law offenders or innocents. Some fear for their lives and clamored that murders and homicides are now easy to be covered up. One can just simply put a pusher signage on the dead body so that the culprits can run away from authorities. They also fear that this unfortunate events can happen to them or their family members.

Mike Arroyo blasts De Lima, Valte 'harassment' RG Cruz, ABS-CBN News

MANILA - The husband of former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo on Monday described as harassment the cases filed by the Aquino administration against Mrs. Arroyo.
In a Facebook post, former First Gentleman Mike Arroyo labeled former Justice Secretary and now Senator Leila de Lima as "unjust" and said: "Harassment is what PNoy did to GMA and [former Chief Justice Renato] Corona using the power of the state."
"Cases filed by citizens against PNoy and his Cabinet are not harassment but the remedy the citizens have against the unjust acts of PNoy and the former officials."
In a separate Facebook post, Arroyo also lashed out at Aquino's former deputy spokesperson Abigail Valte.
"Harassment happens when the government uses the power of the state against its citizens, just like what PNoy did to GMA and Corona. In this case, it's the citizens asserting their rights against the injustice and corruption of PNoy."
In 2011, De Lima prevented former President Arroyo from travelling overseas to have her cervical spine checked despite the issuance of a Supreme Court restraining order stopping any attempt to impair Arroyo's right to travel.
De Lima argued that their case is pending appeal. At that time, De Lima was in the process of indicting Arroyo for an electoral sabotage case in connection with the 2007 national elections.
Charges against Aquino were filed before the Ombudsman last week in connection with the disbursement acceleration program.
Presidents lose their immunity from lawsuit at the expiration of their six-year terms of office.
Valte earlier dismissed the complaints against Aquino as harassment.
